All our beef is from British native breeds. We dry age it for a minimum of 28 days with Himalayan rock salt. When you buy beef online from Grid Iron Meat our experienced butchers prepare your order the day before delivery, so it will arrive with you in the best condition .

Our native breed beef is grass fed which gives it particularly good marbling in the meat with a healthy balance of omega 3 and 6. The breeds that we use take longer to mature as they grow more slowly. Slow growth creates a more intense flavour and the dry ageing process enhances this further. We believe that the beef from North Yorkshire is amongst the best in the world!
