If you’re a foodie who loves to experiment with new flavours and ingredients, then you’ll definitely want to try our Wagyu beef fat.

Sourced from local farms in North Yorkshire, our Wagyu beef fat is a true delicacy that will take your cooking to the next level.

Wagyu beef is famous for its marbled texture and rich flavour, and the fat is no exception. Rendered down, Wagyu beef fat creates a luxurious cooking oil that’s perfect for pan-frying, roasting, or even as a dip for your favourite bread. The fat has a lower melting point than other animal fats, which makes it ideal for high-heat cooking.

At Grid Iron Meat, we take pride in sourcing the highest quality meat and charcuterie from local producers. Our Wagyu beef fat is no exception, and we work with farmers who share our commitment to animal welfare and sustainable farming practices. By sourcing our meat and charcuterie locally, we reduce food miles and support our local community.

But our commitment to quality doesn’t end with sourcing. We take great care to ensure that our Wagyu beef fat is of the highest quality before it even reaches your kitchen. Our experts select only the best cuts of Wagyu beef, which are then carefully trimmed to remove any excess connective tissue. This leaves you with pure, unadulterated Wagyu beef fat that’s perfect for cooking.

So, how do you use Wagyu beef fat? The possibilities are endless. Try rendering it down and using it as a cooking oil for your favourite dishes. The fat imparts a rich, beefy flavour that will take your cooking to the next level. It’s also perfect for roasting vegetables and potatoes, adding a subtle but delicious flavour to your dishes. Or, use it as a spread for your favourite bread or crackers.

At Grid Iron Meat, we’re passionate about food and customer care. Our customers are people who enjoy good traditional food as well as experimenting with new taste combinations. We understand that cooking with new ingredients can be intimidating, which is why we offer expert advice and tips on how to get the most out of our products. Whether you’re a professional chef or a home cook, we’re here to help you achieve culinary excellence.

So why not try our Wagyu beef fat today and discover a new world of flavour? With its rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture and versatile uses, it’s the perfect addition to any kitchen.

Health Benefits of Wagyu Beef Fat

Wagyu beef fat is a source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which are considered to be “good fats” and can help to improve cholesterol levels and lower the risk of heart disease. It also contains essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are important for maintaining a healthy brain and body.

Wagyu beef fat is also a good source of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), a type of fatty acid that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. CLA has also been linked to weight loss and improved body composition.

In addition to its nutritional benefits, Wagyu beef fat also adds a rich, beefy flavour to dishes without the need for additional seasoning or sauces. This can be beneficial for people who are trying to reduce their sodium intake or avoid processed foods.

It’s important to note that like all animal fats, Wagyu beef fat should be consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet. While it does have some health benefits, it is also high in calories and saturated fat, which can increase the risk of heart disease and other health issues if consumed in excess.
