Hot Tips

  • For extra crispiness, spread the hash in a single layer and let it cook undisturbed for a few minutes before stirring.
  • Make sure to squeeze out any excess moisture from the courgette to prevent the hash from becoming soggy.

Pairings

  • White Wine: A light, dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with the flavours of the corned beef hash. Its acidity balances the richness of the dish.
  • Red Wine: A light-bodied red wine like Pinot Noir can also be a good match, offering a slight earthiness that complements the smoked paprika and cumin.
  • Beer: A light lager or pale ale can enhance the savoury elements of the dish without overwhelming it.
  • Non-Alcoholic: Sparkling water with a splash of lemon juice or a light herbal iced tea, such as mint or chamomile, provides a refreshing contrast.
