The Grid Iron Company have solved that problem by producing a traditional Frankfurter made with outdoor reared high welfare pork from farms in North Yorkshire. Each Frank is made by hand using the best pork and natural casings before being lightly smoked over beech wood chips.

The Grid Iron Company have solved that problem by producing a traditional Frankfurter made with outdoor reared, higher welfare pork from North Yorkshire. Each of our Yorkshire Frankfurters is made by hand using the best pork and natural casings before being lightly smoked over wood chips.
Frankfurters are made all over the world, so why not use some great Yorkshire native breed pork to add that bit of confidence in the quality of what you’re eating.
Our pork is from local farms in North Yorkshire. These pigs produce meat with great depth of flavour and a healthy natural fat content. This makes the pork perfect for producing Yorkshire Frankfurters with the right texture and that all important “snap”. Our Yorkshire Frankfurters are an “emulsion” sausage where the pork meat and fat are blended at the right temperature before being filled into natural casings.
Our Franks are made by Artisan charcutiers who care deeply about the quality and consistency of the product and who have brought their wealth of experience, over many decades, to produce an authentic tasting Hot Dog made entirely in the UK.
Cook for 6-10 minutes in boiling water.
