North Yorkshire Wagyu Beef Burgers

Made from cuts of marbled Wagyu forequarter beef that has been aged for a minimum of 10 days. The Wagyu beef cattle are pastured on a farm in North Yorkshire where they have the benefit of lush grass fields and are able to mature and put on weight naturally to add a great depth of flavour to the meat.

The extra fat from the Wagyu along with the ageing of the meat results in a beefy flavour.

    I had high hopes for these burgers but after several tries i can’t seem to get a juicy burger. I have tried smoking, grilling high and fast, low and slow and everything in-between. If you cook to the recommended temperature, it’s dry and chewy. If you take a chance and cook to much lower i.e. just char the outsides it may retain some moisture. I BBQ at least twice a week throughout the year but these unfortunately are off the menu. On a plus side the jumbo sausages and ribeye steaks/ Joints are some of the best I’ve had.

    Stunning burgers. I am a convert. Prefer them to steak ! If cooked quickly on the bbq – charred outside and pink in the middle IMO these are sublime

    Absolutely fabulous. Cook ‘em on a red hot bbq for about 2 mins a side. Don’t panic about the flames – great fat content that can take it. You’ll end up with a burger that’s nice and charred on the outside – but still lovely and pink inside. Stack em in a brioche with your favourite accompaniments – you’ll be burger famous.

    Disappointed with these, they were very dry. Maybe I overcooked them but didn’t want them rare in the middle. Would have liked cooking instructions for best results.
