The Grid Iron Company have solved that problem by producing a traditional Frankfurter made with outdoor reared, Gloucester Old Spot pork from Mount Grace farm in North Yorkshire. Each Frank is made by hand using the best pork and natural casings before being lightly smoked over wood chips. Our Franks come in a pack of 5 and weigh around 100g each.

Everyone loves Frankfurters (Hot Dogs), the problem is we always get that nagging feeling of wondering what’s actually in it. The Grid Iron Company have solved that problem by producing a traditional Frankfurter made with outdoor reared, Gloucester Old Spot pork from Mount Grace farm in North Yorkshire. Each Frank is made by hand using the best pork and natural casings before being lightly smoked over wood chips. Our pork is from a large herd of Gloucester Old Spot pigs who are free to roam outdoors in their home at Mount Grace farm in North Yorkshire. These native breed pigs grow at a slow pace putting weight on naturally and producing meat with great depth of flavour and a healthy natural fat content. This makes it perfect for producing Frankfurters with the right texture and that all important “snap”. Our Franks are made by Artisan charcutiers who care deeply about the quality and consistency of the product and who have brought their wealth of experience to produce an authentic tasting Hot Dog. Cook for 6 minutes in boiling water.

We prepare your order in our butchery on the day before delivery to ensure that everything reaches you in the best condition.

Our deliveries are before noon from Tuesday to Friday each week.

You can select your delivery date at the checkout.

Your order will be sent in an insulated box with ice packs to keep the products cool. Your order should be with you within 24 hours of leaving us. Our boxes are designed to stay cool for at least 48 hours.

There is no charge for delivery on orders over £45. Orders below that value are charged at £5.85.
