Made from the highest quality pork fat, it provides rich and delicious flavour to all your meals.
Our pork lard is made using traditional methods, by rendering pork fat until it becomes a smooth and creamy consistency. This process results in a pure and flavourful cooking fat that is perfect for frying, roasting, and baking. Unlike other cooking fats, our pork lard has a high smoke point, which means it won’t burn or smoke at high temperatures, making it ideal for searing and frying.
Looking for a high-quality cooking fat to add to your pantry? Look no further than Grid Iron Meat’s pure pork lard! Made from the fat of healthy, well-raised pigs, our pork lard is an excellent choice for all your cooking needs. Whether you’re frying up some crispy bacon, roasting a succulent pork loin, or baking a batch of flaky biscuits, our pork lard is the perfect ingredient to add flavour and richness to any dish.
To make our pork lard, we start with fresh pork fat, which we carefully render to extract the purest, highest-quality fat possible. Our pork lard is then filtered and packaged in a convenient resealable jar, making it easy to use and store.
So why choose pork lard over other cooking fats? For starters, pork lard has a high smoke point, which means it can be used at high temperatures without burning or smoking. This makes it an excellent choice for frying, sautéing, and other high-heat cooking methods. Additionally, pork lard adds a delicious, savoury flavour to any dish, making it a popular choice among foodies and professional chefs alike.
Not only is pork lard delicious, it’s also a healthier choice than many other cooking fats. Unlike vegetable oils and margarine, which are high in unhealthy trans fats, pork lard is a natural, unprocessed fat that’s free of harmful additives and chemicals. It’s also a great source of vitamin D, which is important for maintaining strong bones and a healthy immune system.
So why not add Grid Iron Meat’s pure pork lard to your cooking repertoire today? With its delicious flavour, high smoke point, and health benefits, it’s the perfect choice for any home cook or food lover.
