Thick Cut Native Breed Sirloin Steak – 450g

Cut from the heart of the sirloin and aged to perfection, our thick cut sirloin steak celebrates everything that makes native breed beef so exceptional. Each steak is hand-cut to around 450g, with a generous layer of creamy fat that renders beautifully during cooking, creating a deep, savoury flavour and juicy texture.

Sourcing

Our sirloin steaks come from native breed cattle reared on pasture in North Yorkshire. The beef is traditionally dry-aged to enhance tenderness and concentrate flavour before being expertly butchered and prepared by hand.

About the Cut

The sirloin sits between the fillet and the rump — a perfect balance of tenderness and flavour. This thick 450g cut gives a restaurant-style experience that’s ideal for sharing or slicing to serve two.

Cooking Method

Best cooked in a hot cast-iron pan or on a grill. Sear well on both sides to create a caramelised crust, then finish in the oven or move to a cooler part of the grill until your preferred doneness is reached. Rest for at least five minutes before serving to retain juiciness.

Nutritional Value & Health Benefits

Naturally high in protein and rich in essential nutrients such as B12, niacin and zinc, our grass-fed native breed beef also provides beneficial omega-3 fatty acids. The natural marbling gives superb flavour without needing additional fat for cooking.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with triple-cooked chips and peppercorn sauce, or slice thinly over rocket and parmesan for a warm steak salad. Perfect with roasted tomatoes, buttered greens and a glass of robust red wine.

We prepare your order in our butchery on the day before delivery to ensure that everything reaches you in the best condition.

UK MAINLAND DELIVERIES

We deliver on a next day service throughout the UK mainland (please see below for restrictions). Your order is shipped in an insulated box.

Our delivery service allows you to pick a delivery date in advance when you reach the checkout. Our delivery days are Tuesday to Friday.

We use a courier service. They will notify you on the morning of delivery with an estimated time for delivery.

Delivery is free on orders over £50. (under £50 = £12.95) Sorry This is due to the cost involved in our chilled packaging and courier cost.
