Description
What’s in our Three Bird Roast?
Our Yorkshire Three Bird Roast brings together free-range chicken, pheasant and wood pigeon, with traditional pork sausage-meat stuffing and an outer wrap of Mount Grace streaky bacon. Chicken is the principal meat, with smaller layers of pheasant and wood pigeon adding the flavour of British game. It is a richly flavoured Christmas centrepiece that can be carved into slices.
Weight and servings
Minimum supplied weight: 2kg+. Allow approximately five servings, depending on appetites and accompaniments. The exact weight of your roast may be higher.
Ingredients and allergen information
The principal components are chicken, pheasant, wood pigeon, pork sausage-meat stuffing and streaky bacon. Our documented pork sausage-meat specification lists WHEAT (gluten) and SULPHITES as allergens; these are also declared on our standard pork sausages. The current 2026 allergen declaration for this roast has been confirmed. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us for an up-to-date ingredient check before placing an order. Check the label on the delivered product.
How to cook a Three Bird Roast
Preheat the oven to approximately 190°C. Cover the roast loosely with foil while it cooks, removing the foil for the final 30 minutes to brown the bacon. Oven temperatures and roasting times vary with the actual weight and the appliance, so use a clean meat thermometer rather than a fixed time alone. The thickest part of the roast, including the centre of the sausage-meat stuffing, should reach at least 75°C for 30 seconds. Rest for around 20 minutes before slicing. Follow any current cooking guidance supplied with the pack.

Basically a chicken with small pieces of pigeon and pheasant at the bottom. Not at all what I was expecting for the cost of it. So a bit disappointed
