Our Nitrate-Free Streaky Bacon is a traditional, naturally cured bacon made for us by Mount Grace Charcuterie. Using only sea salt and rich muscovado sugar, this bacon is free from artificial preservatives, nitrites or nitrates — allowing the flavour of the pork to shine through in its purest form.
Instead of the bright pink colour you’ll find in conventionally cured bacon, our nitrate-free version takes on a natural, deeper tone, reflecting its honest ingredients and gentle, time-honoured curing process. It’s beautifully marbled with fat, giving it that essential balance of crispness and succulence when cooked.

It’s cured with just two natural ingredients: sea salt and rich muscovado sugar — no nitrates, nitrites, or artificial preservatives in sight.

Without chemical colour fixers, the bacon takes on a deeper, more muted hue — a rich, earthy rose rather than the bright pink associated with bacon. This colour isn’t a flaw; it’s a sign of honesty. We deliver on a next day service throughout the UK mainland (please see below for restrictions). Your order is shipped in an insulated box.
Our delivery service allows you to pick a delivery date in advance when you reach the checkout. Our delivery days are Tuesday to Friday.
We use a courier service. They will notify you on the morning of delivery with an estimated time for delivery.
