This small-scale artisanal charcuterie company is quickly becoming renowned for producing some of the finest bacon in the region, and their dry cured streaky bacon is no exception.
The pork used in Mount Grace Charcuterie’s bacon comes from local farmers who raise their animals with care and respect, ensuring the meat is of the highest quality. The bacon is then dry cured using a traditional method that involves rubbing the meat with a blend of salt, sugar, and other ingredients before allowing it to air dry.
The result is a bacon that is rich in flavour, with a slightly salty and smoky taste that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning bacon lover. Unlike mass-produced bacon that often contains added water, Mount Grace Charcuterie’s bacon is made with only the finest ingredients, resulting in a pure and authentic taste.

I used the streaky bacon on the breast of the turkey on Christmas Day. Needless to say, it did its job and kept the bird moist. I also made my own pigs in blankets using some of the bacon wrapped around a good chipolata. They were very popular
