Yorkshire Native Breed Diced Beef
Our Yorkshire Native Breed Diced Beef is a true staple for slow-cooked comfort dishes and hearty family meals. Cut from the shoulder and chuck of traditionally reared native breed cattle, this beef comes from farms across North Yorkshire where animal welfare and sustainable farming are at the heart of everything.
The cattle are slowly grown on pasture, giving the meat a natural depth and richness that’s hard to find elsewhere. Each chunk is carefully hand-cut to ensure a good balance of lean meat and marbling, which breaks down beautifully during long, gentle cooking.
Perfect for stews, pies, casseroles and braises, this diced beef holds its shape while becoming wonderfully tender. It’s a great source of protein and iron, and fits well into balanced diets including high-protein and low-carb plans.
For best results, brown the beef first to build flavour, then cook it low and slow in stock, ale or red wine with seasonal vegetables and herbs. A proper winter warmer.

Our go to diced beef. The quality is extraordinary. No tissue and very little fat. We use it for slow cooked curries (if you can call beef rendang a curry), gullash etc. The thing about an excellent cut like this is that it stretches longer you do don’t eat excessively when on the plate. As a family of three this, as a beef rendang for example, is a main meal, a school lunch and a couple of nice lunches for me working at home. Excellent value due to the quality of the meat

Used this in a Steak Pie – fantastic! No excessive fat to trim, very tasty. More expensive than supermarket, but quality was on another planet. Planning to buy again!
