Description

Cooking Instructions:

Our pork pies arrive frozen and ready for you to bake. Preheat your oven to 190°C. Place the frozen pies on a baking tray and cook for approximately 40 minutes until the pastry turns golden brown and the filling is thoroughly heated. For the best experience, savour them straight from the oven.

    I ordered these pork pies as my son loves them, but has severe food allergies and often egg is used in the pastry, or to glaze it. These were allergen free for him.
    Just WOW! The pastry was just the right thickness, the meat filled the pies (shop bought often don’t or have tons of jelly) and the flavour was superb. I bought 4 for a party and they were eaten quickly!
    People were asking where they were from. One guest in his 70s declared they were the tastiest pies he’d ever had… and he was from Wigan!
    I will definitely be re-ordering, especially as they can be frozen. They were delivered so well insulated and packaged. Such a great find, I think I will also try other products.

    The pork pies are lovely but the cooking instructions need fine-tuning. The cooking time from frozen is not enough. Perhaps it could make clear that they are a guide only?
    Again, the pies are wonderful.
