How this differs from our other shoulder cuts
Choose this boned and rolled shoulder when you want a traditional roasting joint that is easy to season, carve and serve. For a larger bone-in cut designed around long smoking and pulled pork, choose our Half Boston Butt. For a smaller, richly marbled boneless joint, see our 1.1kg Pork Collar or 2.2kg Pork Collar.

This was a good sized piece of pork and cooked beautifully, the crackling was great too. It lasted us for 3 days and they are looking into thew change as, on the last day, fantastic with mash and tons of various pickles!

Usually delighted, but this one was not quite your usual best. The joint was long and a tad narrow for low and slow roasting. The internal fat content was lacking and the skin had to be scored. So ended up a little dry, although the flavour was still good.

The pork was so tender and very tasty

I cooked this in my slow cooker for 8 hours on the low setting and expected it to be tender and juicy but was disappointed, although it had a good taste to it I found it dry.
