Description
Pork Pies to Bake at Home
Cooking Instructions:
Our pork pies arrive frozen, ready for you to bake to perfection. Preheat your oven to 190°C. Place the frozen pies on a baking tray and cook for approximately 25-30 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is piping hot. Enjoy them fresh from the oven for the best experience.
Tips and Serving Suggestions:
- For a Golden Finish: Brush the top of the pies with a beaten egg before baking to achieve a beautifully golden crust.
- Serving Ideas: Perfect for a hearty snack, these pies pair wonderfully with a dollop of tangy pickle or a spoonful of smooth mustard. They are also ideal for picnics, lunches, or as part of a traditional British Ploughman’s lunch.
- Storage: Keep the pies frozen until ready to bake. Once baked, they can be refrigerated and enjoyed cold or gently reheated in the oven.

Unbelievably meaty pork pies. Totally different and once you’ve tried them the ‘normal’ supermarket versions just don’t taste the same. Quick tip though you need to cook once defrosted not frozen! Cooking guidance needs more detail!

Traditional olde recipe used and yes you can tell in the taste difference, no jelly which for us is bonus we will have the jelly for pud not with my pork pie, very tasty moist meat pastry just right will certainly buy this bad boys again and again…. I would recommend you GET YOU SOME OF THOSE
BTW, jelly has tobe injected into pork pies after baking this is why these dont have any, in our opinion better for it, but that is down to personal tastes.

Pastry fine.
Meat taste and texture fine but rather dry.

Good delivery, pies still frozen!
So far we had 2 hot…a first..but.. delicious!
We plan to eat the other 2 cold.
For those that highlight “No jelly” that is often injected in after cooking…bit difficult if the customer cooks them themselves!
Didn’t ruin the pies for us in the slightest.
Only negative is the overall cost…high for 4 small pies…but as a special treat or gift…OK.
